Folio, printed in Gothic type in double columns, with an elaborate woodcut title-page border and numerous woodcut initials.

The volume contains Ambrose's biblical commentaries, including expositions of the Psalms and Pauline Epistles.

Original leather over wooden boards, worn, with damages, lacks spine and clasps.
Some wormholes to the covers and few first and last leaves.

Otherwise very clean and crisp interior

 With old manuscript institutional provenance inscription at the title page, apparently referring to the Biblioteca Seminarii S. Caroli Borromei.
