A very rare edition of this important collection of Catholic sermons by Johannes Eck (1486–1543), the main intellectual opponent of Luther and the Protestant Reformation.
These texts were written to provide Catholic priests with doctrinal and homiletic tools to defend the traditional faith and counter the theses of Martin Luther and other reformers of the time.
