Paduan humanist, philosopher, and writer.
He taught logic at the university of Padua from 1520 until 1523, returning in 1525, when he became professor of philosophy during the years 1560-64 and 1573-8 he was based in Rome, returning subsequently to Padua, where he devoted himself to writing.
