With woodcut printer's mark at the title, small woodcut coat of arms on the last leaf.

Original blind-tooled pigskin binding over wooden boards with 1 (of 2) brass clasps.

The only complete edition of the Latin writings; published at the behest of the Bavarian Chancellor Leonhard von Eck.


- The Franciscan Kaspar Schatzger (1463 or 64 – 1527) was one of Luther's fiercest opponents in southern Germany.

- The long preface is by Johannes Eck.

 With bookplate,  slightly browned, some wormholes towards the end,

binding somewhat stained and rubbed
