"The tone of the work is predominantly astronomical, even if, as in The Sphere, Piccolomini calls the astronomers astrologers, further confirming the conceptual and expressive blending of astronomy and astrology in the 16th century. That is, he places in the same context those who observed and measured the sky and those who drew predictions and forecasts from it.
Thus, Piccolomini also deals, among other things, with the aspects between the Planets (from leaf 59) and reproduces the classic ones of astrology, also mentioning the benign and malignant ones, and therefore, in writing in this way, he blends two different disciplines."
