Slightly rubbed and browned, spine slightly cracked, top of the spine with a loss.
 Some toning. With numerous period marginalia and underlinings. Lacks piece of pigskin at the back cover.

Gregory of Nyssa (c. 335/340–after 394), venerated especially by the Orthodox Church, is considered the most important Christian philosophical thinker of his time; the fusion of Christian and Platonic elements in his doctrine of God represents an early high point in late antique Western intellectual history.
