a curated anthology of Latin poetry written by leading Italian humanists.

Edited by Giovanni Matteo Toscano, it served as a "best-of" collection to showcase Italian literary excellence to the French court and intellectual circles in Paris.
Volume 1 contains the works of some of the most influential Italian poets who wrote in Latin during the 15th and 16th centuries.
Key authors include Pietro Bembo, Lazzaro Bonamico, and Trifone Benci.
