Slightly later cardboard binding with manuscript title to the spine -- Adams C 593.2.- Venetian print of the church-political writings of the Franciscan priest Johannes Capistranus (1386-1456), who was famous throughout Europe as an itinerant preacher, inquisitor and finally military leader in the Turkish wars and was also notorious for his radical persecution of the Jews. The title page with his woodcut portrait on the verso. – First layer browned, wormhole to the front endpaper, last couple of leaves of the index and back endpaper with wormtrack (minor letter loss).
