Commentary on the Nicomachean Ethics by the humanist and philologist Pietro Vettori (Florence, 1499-1585).
Vettori was a public reader of Greek and Latin eloquence from 1538 to 1583.
An opponent of the Medici, he wrote commentaries on classical authors including: Plato, Aristotle, Aeschylus, Euripides, Xenophon, Terence, Cicero, Sallust, Demetrius Phalereus.
