Jost Amman's beautiful woodcuts depict clerical dignitaries of various ranks in full figure, including several nuns.

Above each image is a brief description of the order and its habit, followed by eight verses in rhyming couplets. –

Minor foxing and occasional toning, first couple of leaves with some repaired or closed tears , a few leaves with faded dampstain, one leaf with larger closed tear
