===========================
Ubertino Zuccardi (1480– 1541) was an Italian Renaissance jurist
Ubertino Zuccardi completed his studies at the Academy of Bologna , where he received his doctoral degree in 1505. His mother, widowed for some years, having embraced religious life, he was obliged to take over all the details of domestic administration and to oversee the education and establishment of his younger brothers.
After serving as an auditor at the Rota of Florence and Siena , he was appointed professor of civil law at the Academy of Ferrara in 1519.
The following year, Duke Alfonso I sent him, in recognition of his talents, a diploma granting him and his descendants exemption from various public offices.
Ubertino died on May 30, 1541 leaving two sons who distinguished themselves in military careers.
