Rare edition from 1597 of the letters of Bernardo Tasso that included correspondence with Cagnino Gonzaga, Annibal Caro, Cardinal Pietro Bembo, Guido Rangoni, and the popes Paul III and Clement VII.

Printer's mark on the frontispiece and some decorated initials.

Small occasional spots, period marginalia,  some wormholes at the lower margin on about 20 leaves

Back endpaper with period manuscript entry on the recto and verso with the "Repertorio delle matterie più importanti delle lettere del Tasso".

Moreover, the copy remains usable and complete.
