A compilation of Roman antiquities, first published at Basel in 1583.

Thomas Dempster (1579 - 1625), a Scottish historian, published this expanded edition in 1613.

Some annotations in early hand on front free endpaper.


Several scratches and scrapes to calf; several repaired leaves, a few minor chips and tears, ornamented strips from another book pasted on title page and succeeding leaf, some dampstains and other staining within; about very good.
