He attended the college in Wittemberg, obtained his doctorate in law in Leiden in 1597, settled as a lawyer in Utrecht and was shortly afterwards appointed professor in Franeker, which position he held in Sept. 1598 accepted.In 1635 he published his famous work: Decisiones Frisicae sive rerum in suprema Frisiorum Curia judicatarum libri V, which was printed several times (the 10th edition appeared in Amsterdam in 1698) and which was published in a Dutch translation in Leeuwarden in 1638 under the title of: "Vijff Boeken der gewijsder saecken voor den Hove van Vriesland".=========================== Please see my other auctions Thank You Refund Policy: We will issue a FULL REFUND, 100% money back if you are not satisfied with your purchase.
