Rare First edition of this classic and finely engraved work on techniques for handling the musket and pike, based on the 1620 Peter Isselburg (Simon Halbmayer) edition.
Text printed in French and in German.
Illustrated with an engraved pictorial title-page, 38 engraved plates (each depicting two figures, numbered 1-44 and 1-32),
in-text woodcut diagram, and woodcut head- and tail-pieces.
