Adrien de Valois (1607-1692), a French poet and historian, also known as Hadrian Valesius or Hadrianus Valesius.
He was the author of works such as the Excerpta Valesiana, a collection of historical fragments from a 9th-century manuscript, he published in 1636, which are named after him.
