Original leather over wooden boards with 2 clasps.Spine with raised bands.

All edges are gilt.

 First edition of the beautiful late Baroque Augsburg Illustrated Bible.
Among the approximately half-page copperplates are Latin and German verses by J. Crophius.

Without the 4 text leaves , foxing, a few copperplates with marginal tears, title part 1 with repaired margins, binding with some damages, one of the clasps repaired.
