Text in Spanish
-----------------------------------
Tomas Vicente Tosca y Masco (Valencia, 1651 - 1723). Spanish mathematician, architect, philosopher and theologian, one of the creators of the novatores movement.
The 18th century in Spain was characterized by an increase in the publication of mathematical texts.
This is argued by Luis Rico and Alexander Maz (University of Granada and University of Cordoba, respectively) in Libros de texto de matematicas en Espana durante los siglos XVIII y XIX. Ref. 9325-J).
