Including many of their letters and confessions, as well as the murders in Paris, the killing in Voltoline, the unheard-of cruelty in Ireland, along with the horrific murder of the Vaudoysen (Waldensians) in Piedmont, and other persecutions of believers.)

This latest edition has been carefully revised, improved, and largely expanded; each section is arranged according to its proper year and time with greater diligence and accuracy, compiled by J.G.O., featuring more than 150 copper plates,
all of which depict the martyrdoms very precisely according to the land and localities, with a brief table of contents for the reader's convenience, arranged by place.
