LEVITICUS 7:4-7:27

--------------------

contains laws about the consumption of meat from sacrifices:
Peace offerings
The meat from a peace offering for thanksgiving must be eaten on the same day it's offered. Meat from a peace offering made as a vow or freewill offering can be eaten on the next day, but any remaining meat must be burned by the third day. Eating meat from a peace offering on the third day is considered an abomination and the person who eats it is held responsible.
Unclean meat
Meat that touches anything unclean must be burned. Only people who are ceremonially clean can eat the remaining meat. Eating meat from a fellowship offering while unclean is considered a sin and the person who eats it must be cut off from their people.
Blood
Eating blood is forbidden, and the person who does so must be cut off from their people.
