=================
Deuteronomy 28:30 is a verse in the Bible detailing the severe consequences ("curses") the nation of Israel would face for disobeying God's commandments.

It states:

"You will become engaged to a woman, but another man will lie with her.
You will build a house, but not live in it.
You will plant a vineyard, but not enjoy its fruit."

The verse highlights the devastation of losing everything you have worked for.
Specifically, it prophesies:

Loss of family:
The bride you are betrothed to will be taken and violated by an enemy.

Loss of home:
You will put in the hard work to build a house, only to have someone else occupy it.

Loss of provision:
You will plant a vineyard and cultivate it, but your enemies will reap and consume its harves
